Watcombe Torquay Pottery Frog Spoon Warmer c1880, the frog on a lily pad / leaf pulling a shell glazed in green.
This model was produced by the Watcombe Terra-Cotta Co. Ltd, in existence from 1869 until 1901 before it amalgamated with Aller Vale Pottery.
This is a lovely example in good condition with a slight nick to the edge of the shell and a slightly larger manufacturing flaw on the edge under the glaze - please see photos.
