Christian in the UK - Hello! I developed a passion for buying design pieces in the late 1970s when my parents opened a shop in the North West selling Victoriana, Art Nouveau and Art Deco.

Visiting exhibitions and the permanent exhibits at the V&A confirmed my belief that good design can be found throughout the decades and that beautiful pieces worthy of being in a museum can also be very affordable.

My interest in design then led me to explore more movements such as Pugin and the Gothic revival to the then newly formed Memphis group in Italy and buying and selling items as diverse as jewellery, textiles, glass, furniture, paintings, art and studio pottery, sculpture and jukeboxes!

Because the internet can be such a minefield of misinformation I also strive to make my item descriptions as accurate as possible and guarantee the items I sell are as described.
