A Pilkington’s Royal Lancastrian Shouldered Vase Model Number
2090 c1905 - The stunning high fired sang de boeuf glaze
around the neck dappling through the green shoulder and body flowing
down in to a turquoise blue base. The thick glaze on the base
obscures the Pilkington’s stamped mark which can just about be made
out along with the number 2090 A beautiful example of early 20th
Century British Art pottery in excellent condition, I have added a
photo of a tiny pinprick to the inside of the neck created in the
firing of the vase.
