Century Chest of Drawers / Tallboy - A lovely example of this
classic 6 drawer chest in a teak veneer with solid rosewood handles.
Ib Kofod-Larsen (1921-2003) was a leading Danish furniture
designer and architect, he designed pieces for manufacturers in
Denmark and abroad, he designed several pieces for G-Plan’s Danish
range including sideboards, seating and this chest of drawers. The
Danish range of furniture was more expensive at the time and is now
appreciated for it’s quality, clean lines and are sought after
pieces of mid-century modernism.
In very good vintage condition with some light wear / signs of use.
Clean inside and out it has at some point had a lining in the
drawers for protection.
