Josef Lorenzl - A stylish Art Deco Austrian bronze figure, circa 1927 "Speed", depicting a stylish woman in a dynamic pose and a silvered and enamelled cold-painted finish, mounted on a green onyx base.
This very stylish bronze appears to be based on photos of the "false Maria" dance sequence from the 1927 Fritz Lang film "Metropolis" that were taken by Horst Von Harbou, brother of Thea von Harbou (Lang's then wife and co-screenwriter of Metropolis) See photo 7.
This model is one of my personal favourites.
