Josef Lorenzl - A stylish Art Deco Austrian bronze figure, circa 1930 "Dorissa"- depicting the dancer Dorissa Nelova (of the Albertina Rasch dance group)
with a lacquered and enameled cold-painted finish, mounted on a green onyx base.
This is a super Lorenzl bronze and another one of my favourites. *The German sculptor Ferdinand Preiss also did a version of Dorissa Nevola, his being made of bronze and ivory.
