A J van Kooten (attributed) An Art Deco Enamelled Glass Vase
c1930 - the clear glass vase hand painted with a stylised
band of trees in black, red, green and white enamel.
Anthonius Johannes van Kooten (1894-1951) was active in his
own studio "de Lingestroom" in Leerdam at the beginning of the
1930’s, hand decorating clear glass vases with colourful enamels.
Other Dutch artists working around the same time in a similar style
included Chris Agterberg and Chris Lanooy.
