Hoyrup began production of Origami style lamp shades in the 1960’s originally releasing the Butterfly Lamp and going on to create many simple but beautiful designs made from punched plastic sheets and moulded plastic rings. Many have become classics, including this large Facett Lamp which could be purchased in different sizes, and the production at Hoyrup Light stopped in the mid-1980s.
