Lucian Ercolani set up his business in High Wycombe in
the 1920’s but is best known for his Windsor range of furniture
produced after the 2nd World War, a modern take on traditional
English furniture, made of solid wood, using traditional craft
techniques utilising locally sourced Elm and Beech. First
exhibited at the at the Britain Can Make It Exhibition of 1946 and
then at The Festival Of Britain in 1951 the Windsor range was an
instant success with much of the range still being produced today.
