George Carwardine Designed Anglepoise Lamp c1935, an original and rare 3 step base 1227 model manufactured by Herbert Terry.
An iconic piece of British design this version was only manufactured between 1935 to 1938 and in small batches. This lamp is complete in untouched original condition; the chrome is pitted, the original black crinkle paint has some wear, it has the original Bakelite bulb holder and the springs work well holding the arms in position. Sold as is, unrestored with the original flex cut near where it exits the lamp.
