A large and dynamic sculpture with typical Faguays stylised classical influences, in good Good condition with some chipping to the base tidied up.
Pierre Le Faguays
Born in Nantes; pupil of Vibert. He attracted the attention of the public at his first exhibition due to the originality he gave his dancing subjects which were inspired by the statues of Tangara. He was a member of the salon of La Stele and Evolution groups. Received a medal of honour in 1927.
