Pierre Le Faguays - An Art Deco painted metal sculpture
"Gloire", edited by Max Le Verrier, France circa 1930's - the
stylised athlete holding aloft a palm leaf, mounted on Belgian black

This is a classic sculpture by Le Faguays with his typical styling
to the features. Other examples of Faguay's work can be seen in the
books Art Deco and Other Figures by Bryan Catley and Art Deco
Sculpture by Alastair Duncan.
Published by the famous Max Le Verrier foundry in Paris who, as well
as creating his own sculptures, edited works by Pierre Le Faguays,
