J P Morante - An Art Deco bronze sculpture France circa 1925, titled "High Kick", edited by Marcel Guillemard the young woman dancing wearing an elaborate headress, the bronze cold-painted silver with enamel details and mounted on a shaped marble base.
This is a lovely example of of this dynamic bronze sculpture. I have no information about "Morante" but other examples of his work can be seen in Bryan Catley's book "Art Deco and other Figures".
