H Molins- An Art Deco Bronze statue, France c1925, the
patinated, silvered and gilded bronze of a revue dancer mounted on
a portoro marble base.
This is a uncommon sculpture with the bronze and ivory
version featured on page 180 of Alberto Shayo's Statuettes
of the Art Deco Period and it is in lovely condition, with
her decorated clothing adding to its charm.
Enrique Molins-Balleste. Born in Barcelona and
worked out of Paris. Famous for his theatrical and genre groups
and figurative lighting, his sculptures can be found in spelter,
bronze and bronze / ivory.
