Loetz (or Kralik) Secessionist glass vase with "Streifen und
Flecken" decoration, Bohemia, circa 1900, the dimpled green
body decorated with subtle stripes and circles, the glass placed
within in a polished brass mount.
This shape is in the Passau museum of glass attributed to Loetz, but
it can also be found online attributed to both Loetz and Kralik.
This pattern was popular with Prof. Koloman Moser and his followers
at Kunstgewerbeschule (School of Arts and Crafts or School of
Applied Arts) in Vienna around the turn of the 20th Century,
so it is possible that this is a "school of Koloman Moser" piece.
Whatever the glass maker attribution, this is a well made and very
interesting item.
