Hutschenreuther, Department of Art, Germany 1920-1938 -  Designed by Lothar Otto and part of a series titled "Allegorie und Mythologie" with the porcelain figurine representing Eve holding a golden apple, stood on a "garden of paradise" polychrome decorated plinth with a snake by her side and gilded decoration.
This is a rare and stylish figurine and was bought with the knowledge of restoration and is therefore priced accordingly.
