This dynamic figure is based on the famous Norwegian skating champion Sonja Henie (a three-time Olympic Champion (1928, 1932, 1936) who was also one of Hollywood's highest paid stars in the 1930s. (F. Preiss also did a model in bronze and ivory and as can be seen in the auction photo 7, this figure is often attributed to Lorenzl)
