all lamps are supplied in working order (rewired whenever
it's possible, but supplied without a plug) their age means
they might not meet current standards and regulations or in
the case of the USA they will need adapting from the
standard European voltage of 230V.
- Therefore
it is highly recommended before use that they are checked
(or adapted) by a qualified electrician.
